Bespoke Design & Making

Our bespoke work brings together original vintage pieces, reclaimed materials, thoughtful design and skilled making to create something entirely individual.

A project might begin with an existing piece, a reclaimed material, a particular space and function, or simply an idea. We explore what can be reclaimed, reworked and reimagined, designing and making new elements wherever they’re needed.

The result is considered, functional design that celebrates rather than disguises the history and imperfections of the materials we work with — allowing old and new to sit together naturally.

Our Process

Reclaim

We see potential in pieces and materials others might overlook. Vintage furniture can be adapted for an entirely new purpose, while reclaimed materials can become the starting point for a completely new design.

Rework

Where a project requires something that doesn’t already exist, bespoke elements can be designed and made to work alongside the original — from individual components and cabinetry to complete pieces of furniture and kitchens.

Reimagine

New elements are carefully aged and finished using considered materials, reclaimed handles and vintage hardware, helping them sit naturally alongside the original vintage pieces that inspired them.
