A stunning and very rare four drawer chest of drawers designed by John Herbert as part of the 'Codan' range for the renowned high quality maker Younger of Great Britain. Younger were renowned for their high quality workmanship and mainly retailed through Heals.

Larger than most chests of the period, beautifully simplistic design, constructed impressively from solid teak (except the drawer interiors etc), this is very unusual as most mid century furniture (including danish) were constructed using veneers.
This one like so many Younger pieces is labelled on the back of the back of a drawer.
The teak has a lovely vintage golden patina that only age can achieve.
