Mid Century Reclaimed Vintage Bible Shelves Retail Display 2704f
Sold Out
A completely unique and beautifully designed, handcrafted, bible stand.
– Excellent restored condition
Would work equally well in a home, for displaying books, ornaments, or favourite collections, or in a shop or restaurant to display menus or products.
Constructed from a combination of solid beech and sapele which contrast beautifully. A unique symmetrical design that allows books or items to displayed on both sides.
We acquired this as part of a church clearance in Earlsdon, Coventry, alongside lots of other complementary pieces that share the same unique leg/base design. The church was erected in the 1960's with a striking mid century architecture which is echoed throughout the design of the furniture. This is highly unusual for church furniture, as it normally has a more traditional aesthetic.
A very rare, striking piece of furniture, with an intriguing back story.
Condition
In excellent restored condition, there are some polished in marks and blemishes as to be expected, which all add to the vintage appeal and history of the piece.
