Friends of Ham – Deli / Charcuterie

After working with the award winning 'Friends of Ham' in supplying furniture for their first branch in Leeds, we were delighted to work with them again in furnishing their second Bar & Charcuterie in Ilkley.

The project involved creating a number of bespoke dining tables to suit their new space, along with sourcing/supplying a range of vintage stacking chairs to compliment the tables. Our favourite part of the project was designing and producing a large rustic feature dining table made from vintage cheeseboards! As you can see from the photos, the table top was patinated by maturing gouda cheese, resulting in dark circular stains to the wood which have a striking and unique look - perfect for the 'Friends of Ham' and their love of cheese! The table base was finished in a Farrow & Ball colour of their choice and then manually distressed to give the impression of age.

Mustard Vintage also supplied a number of other rustic/industrial dining tables - one with our steel 'A-Frame' powder coated base, and another which featured reclaimed, cast iron legs. One things for sure, there is nothing 'cheesy' about the new 'Friends of Ham' interior, it really does cut the Mustard!
