A stunning & scarcely seen two seater sofa / daybed.

Featuring fully upholstered arm panels with piped & buttoned loose cushions (zipped&removeable), solid beech frame and legs, fully sprung base with brand new platform lining to protect the seat cushions.

– Superb fully restored condition

The sofa transforms into a bed quickly and easily by simply lifting out the arms, then simply replacing with the beech back supports which allows the back cushions to be placed at either end of the seat cushions place making a sleeping area for one, handy for those unexpected guests!

The solid beech framework has been fully restored but does have a few minor polished in marks & scratches as to be expected. All the internal foam and inners have been stripped back and replaced then beautifully upholstered in a lovely medium grey wool tweed fabric making it fully compliant to fire regulations. The sofa bed is very comfortable due to the excellent original spings and premium soft foam.

Preparation

We carefully assess every piece, identifying any damage, repairs or replacement parts it may need. Drawers may need new runners, handles can be missing or damaged, and joints may require repair or reinforcement. We look beyond the surface to uncover hidden defects, ensuring each piece is restored to work as it was originally intended.

With over 20 years of experience, we know that the right restoration techniques can make all the difference. It’s a delicate process that takes patience, skill and attention to detail — one we’ve taken the time to perfect. Each piece is carefully and sensitively restored, preserving its original character and charm while giving it a new lease of life.

Finishing

Finally, we add the finishing touches — whether that’s painting, oiling or sealing, fitting new handles, hinges or catches, or simply giving the piece a final clean and polish. We make sure every piece is ready for modern living, giving it a new lease of life and a renewed sense of purpose, ready to be loved for generations to come.

Before and after
