A stunning and iconic mid century design. Constructed from a combination of beech and solid sapele which contrast beautifully, enhancing the striking features of this design.
Would make a very striking menu stand in a bar or restaurant or perhaps at a wedding to display the top table plan.
We acquired this as part of a church clearance in Earlsdon, Coventry alongside lots of other pieces that also share the same striking leg/base design, the church was erected in the 1960's with striking mid century architecture. (We have more information on this if required) The furniture follows the same theme which is very unusual for church furniture, as it normally has a more traditional aesthetic.
In excellent restored condition, there are some polished in marks and blemishes as to be expected which all add to the vintage appeal of the piece.
