A lovely hand crafted, solid oak school lecturn.

– Excellent restored condition

Would work equally well in a home as a music stand or in a bar/restaurant to display menus or perhaps a wedding to display the top table plan!

We acquired this as part of a school clearance in Derbyshire where we were informed that it was made from a local man who constructed it from solid oak from the local area! This is actually stamped to the underside giving the piece a nice provenance.

The oak has a gorgeous warmth and striking grain to the oak.

In excellent restored condition, there are some polished in marks and blemishes as to be expected which all add to the vintage appeal of the piece. There is a brass fixing that looks like it should allow the height to adjust, however this does not seem to be currently working.

Dimensions:
Width of top: 43cm
Depth of top: 31cm
Height: 110cm
Diameter of base: 37cm

They would make a great addition to any home or commercial interior.

Preparation

We carefully assess every piece, identifying any damage, repairs or replacement parts it may need. Drawers may need new runners, handles can be missing or damaged, and joints may require repair or reinforcement. We look beyond the surface to uncover hidden defects, ensuring each piece is restored to work as it was originally intended.

Before and after
