A striking vintage British studio pottery vase by POG Crafts Pottery, featuring a gently tapering cylindrical shape, elegant flared rim and bold zigzag decoration in rich earthy brown against a softly speckled oatmeal glaze.
Hand-thrown in stoneware, the vase has a wonderfully graphic, almost abstract quality. POG Crafts Pottery was established in 1985 at Cardington Workshops near Bedford by potters Paul McGrath and Graham Fielder. The underside bears the distinctive incised POG maker's monogram.
