A striking vintage studio pottery vase, featuring a beautifully balanced shape and an unusual combination of rich reddish-brown and soft lilac-grey glazes.
With a gently rounded body, slender neck and elegant flared rim, the vase features a sweeping charcoal-grey band separating the warm satin brown upper section from the softly speckled lilac-grey glaze below, giving it a distinctive, sculptural appearance.
The maker remains unknown, although the piece has a distinctly mid-century-inspired aesthetic.
