A lovely rustic oak desk. Manufactured by Abbess in the 1940s/50s primarily for use as school teacher desks. This desk was recently salvaged from a local Soilcitors.
– Excellent restored condition.
Constructed from solid oak and oak veneers, the desk has a simplistic aesthetic featuring two drawers with solid oak handles. The desk has adjustable feet fitted which is great if a little extra leg room is require or if you have uneven floors!
The oak has a lovely grain and patina, there are some minor polished marks as to be expected, please take a look at the photographs for more detail.
