Vintage Mid Century Mcintosh Teak Sideboard
Sold Out
A beautifully designed & scarcely seen model of sideboard by the renowned manufacturer McIntosh of Kirkcaldy circa 1960s. The condition of this sideboard is stunning for it's age... and one of the best we've come across.
McIntosh sideboards have shot up in value over the past five years due to being exported to the US, Australia and Japan, where they sell for BIG money! This makes them very sought after and a great investment piece - especially this particular model which is scarce and in such beautiful condition.
The craftsmanship and attention to detail in these sideboards is stunning. This model features unique drawer fronts and beautifully crafted handles and finger 'holes' for sliding open the cabinet doors (look at the photos for the detail).
The sideboard offers lots of storage with two large cupboards, one with a shelf, and three good sized drawers - the top one having cutlery dividers included.
The teak has a stunning vintage patina that only age can achieve - just look at the detailed pictures and that mirrored grain on those doors... it's beautiful!
