A gorgeous Hungarian painted pine settle in original condition. Dated to around 1880/1890.
A very decorative looking piece with lovely carved back and spindle supports.
The original paintwork is very striking with varying hues of pastel blue with hints of white and areas of pine showing through, the bench has been cleaned and waxed just enough to enhance the wonderful patina.
As with most antique country furniture there are old worm holes present but it has been treated with an environmentally friendly woodworm killer.
A stunning and unusual piece that would look fantastic in the home maybe in the hallway or in a retail/cafe/restaurant environment.
