A beautiful, oak haberdashery display cabinet with original hand written ink lettering on the glass. Dated to 1910.
The lettering reads 'Dewhursts three shells' 'Silk – Wool – Cotton' 'Made in Britain'
A scarcely seen piece of furniture, currently very desirable and very functional, they work very well as alternative kitchen storage adding some real character and vintage appeal or as a shop display in a retail environment.
Solid construction using a combination of oak and ply. Lovely solid brass handles with fully functional glazed sliding doors. There are two shelves included and more could be added fairly easily if required.
A very desirable piece, in superb original condition, there are some polished in marks and scratches as to be expected for its age, this only enhances the character of the piece, please see photographs for more detail.
