A stunning and unique, vintage oak laboratory bank of drawers in excellent restored condition.

A beautiful piece of furniture with striking recessed handles and lots of character. The drawer fronts and sides are constructed from solid oak, we have added a solid iroko top which originally came from a school art room (as you can probably tell) this has been cleaned and sealed with numerous coats of oil to protect the layers of paint splats.

In excellent restored condition, there are lots of polished in marks and scratches as to be expected for its age, this only enhances the character of the piece, please see photographs for more detail.

A very desirable and functional piece which would work equally well in a number of environments from a kitchen, bedroom, living area or within a studio or as a feature display piece or counter in a retail space.

Our restoration process

Preparation

We carefully assess every piece, identifying any damage, repairs or replacement parts it may need. Drawers may need new runners, handles can be missing or damaged, and joints may require repair or reinforcement. We look beyond the surface to uncover hidden defects, ensuring each piece is restored to work as it was originally intended.

Before and after
