A scarcely seen and highly desirable mid century chest of school drawers designed by James Leonard in the early 1950's for Esavian (ESA) The Educational Supply Association.
-Excellent restored condition
A stunning and versatile piece of storage with gorgeous solid beech drawers with striking cutaway handles. The twenty drawers have a lovely patina and all have their original paintwork with all the historic marks and chips to the paintwork giving the piece real character, we have left these as they are but cleaned and given a coat of clear wax (it's rare to find the drawer fronts in such a neutral colour)
The carcass has been sympatheticaly restored back to its former glory which contrasts beautifully with the drawer fronts. All drawer runners have been re-fixed ensuring that all the drawers run smoothly.
