A stunning and rare three drawer chest of drawers designed by John Herbert as part of the 'Codan' range for the renowned high quality maker Younger of Great Britain. Younger were renowned for their high quality workmanship and mainly retailed through Heals.

Larger than most chests of the period, beautifully simplistic design, constructed impressively from solid teak (except the drawer interiors etc), this is very unusual as most mid century furniture (including danish) were constructed using veneers.
Features contrasting afrormosia handles, legs and panel above the top drawer.
The teak has a lovely vintage golden patina that only age can achieve.
