A beautifully designed & crafted teak extending dining table designed by Tom Robertson for A.H. McIntosh in the 1960s.
– Superb restored condition.
The table has a distinct Scandinavian appearance with beautifully shaped legs and base, this model is extremely popular due to the fact that it can be extended to seat up to 10 people, it features two extension leaves that can be used together or individually making it a very versatile dining table.
The table extends quickly and easily by simply pulling the two halves apart which reveal the hidden leaves, these swivel upwards, the table can then be pushed back together to achieve the desired size.
In superb restored condition, it is rare to have such a consistent colour throughout the extension leaves and main table. There may be some very minor polished in marks & scratches as to be expected, please see photographs for more detail.
Length: 160cm (unextended)
Length: 235cm (fully extended)
Distance between legs length: 113cm
Height from floor to underside: 66cm
A stunning piece of mid century furniture, it would make a great addition to any vintage/mid-century inspired interior.
