A rare matching pair of very stylish and scarcely seen 1950's modernist chest of three drawers designed by architect couple John & Sylvia Reid for Stag Furniture as part of their much sought after 'Cumberland' 'C' range.
From time to time we find single drawers, but it is rare for us to find a matching set like this - particularly in such good original condition.
These drawers feature a clean, modernist aesthetic that still feels contemporary to this day, way ahead of its time. Featuring lovely recessed handles, oak veneers and solid oak legs.
Excellent original condition, there are some minor polished marks as to be expected for its age, please take a look at the photographs for more detail.
Drawer Widths: 68cm
Drawer Heights: 11.5cm
