Vintage Pine Housekeeper’s Cupboard – Large Country Larder & Pantry Storage 0509b
Tax included
An impressive and beautifully proportioned vintage pine housekeeper’s cupboard, full of character and offering an incredible amount of practical storage.
Made in two sections, the cupboard features lovely panelled doors and sides, giving it a classic country-house feel. Its generous proportions make it ideal as a kitchen larder or pantry, while it would work equally well as a linen cupboard, utility storage or a statement piece in a hallway or boot room.
Constructed from pine, the timber has developed a wonderful warm colour and natural patina through years of honest use. There are plenty of characterful marks and variations across the surface, giving the cupboard the relaxed, lived-in quality that makes original vintage furniture so appealing.
It looks fantastic in its natural finish, but would also lend itself beautifully to being painted, which would really highlight the detailed panelling and transform it into a completely different piece.
Restoration & Condition
Carefully prepared and presented in excellent vintage condition, with new roller catches fitted so the doors open and close smoothly and securely. As expected with a genuine vintage piece, there are knocks, marks and areas of wear throughout, all of which form part of its history and individual character.
Please take a close look through the photographs, as these form an important part of the description and show the condition, patina and details of the cupboard more closely.

Our restoration process
Preparation
We carefully assess every piece, identifying any damage, repairs or replacement parts it may need. Drawers may need new runners, handles can be missing or damaged, and joints may require repair or reinforcement. We look beyond the surface to uncover hidden defects, ensuring each piece is restored to work as it was originally intended.
Restoration
With over 20 years of experience, we know that the right restoration techniques can make all the difference. It’s a delicate process that takes patience, skill and attention to detail — one we’ve taken the time to perfect. Each piece is carefully and sensitively restored, preserving its original character and charm while giving it a new lease of life.
Finishing
Finally, we add the finishing touches — whether that’s painting, oiling or sealing, fitting new handles, hinges or catches, or simply giving the piece a final clean and polish. We make sure every piece is ready for modern living, giving it a new lease of life and a renewed sense of purpose, ready to be loved for generations to come.
Before and after
Each piece is carefully and sympathetically restored to preserve the character, charm and beautiful details that make it unique. The result is a truly individual piece of furniture, thoughtfully restored for
modern living and ready to bring warmth, personality and timeless style to your home for years to come.
