A rare late 1950s, early 1960s Continental modular room-divider shelving system in teak and black tubular steel, retaining its original black powder coating, cream ball finials and feet.

– Excellent restored condition

We have been unable to attribute a designer or manufacturer to this piece, our instinct tells us it is Dutch or German. We absolutely love it and have never come across anything similar.

Perfect for housing your favourite collections, books etc, also can be used as a room divider as originally intended. although the shelves are designed to be height adjusted if required, it is quite tricky to do, we have configured the shelves fairly equally and ensured that they are all level with a spirit level.

In excellent restored condition, there are some minor polished in marks as to be expected for its age, please see photographs for detail.

Dimensions:

A rare piece that would add a touch of mid century style to any interior.

Preparation

We carefully assess every piece, identifying any damage, repairs or replacement parts it may need. Drawers may need new runners, handles can be missing or damaged, and joints may require repair or reinforcement. We look beyond the surface to uncover hidden defects, ensuring each piece is restored to work as it was originally intended.
