A scarcely seen mid century chest of school drawers designed by James Leonard in the early 1950's for Esavian (ESA) The Educational Supply Association. This particular model is very rare as it has five rows of drawers as opposed to the usual four making it more of a statement piece. The leg design is also unique to this model with a more rounded appearance.
– Superb restored condition
A stunning and versatile piece of storage with solid hardwood drawers with striking cutaway handles. The twenty drawers have all been stripped, sanded and oiled which contrast beautifully with the carcass which we have had professionally painted using a neutral off-white colour. We have lined the drawers with good quality, vintage themed paper from Paperchase.
In superb restored condition, there may be some minor polished in marks and blemishes as to be expected which all add to the vintage appeal of the piece.
