A distinctive vintage Scheurich West German pottery vase dating from the 1970s, featuring rich bands of earthy brown, warm cream and soft olive green, with an attractive textured glaze and elegant tapered shape.
The tall, gently tapered shape is complemented by a distinctive rounded rim and bold horizontal bands of colour. The rich, speckled glaze creates lovely variations in tone and texture, giving the vase a distinctive mid-century character.
The underside is impressed with the model number 209-18 and W. Germany, identifying it as a vintage West German ceramic piece. Perfect for displaying dried flowers or branches, or simply as a decorative piece in its own right.
