A 19th century, three tier English sewing table.
The table features striking tortoise bamboo framework with beautifully painted, Japanese designs throughout. The lower section has a storage box which is accessed via a lift up top, originally used for storing sewing equipment. The table also features a drop down shelves to each side and small drawer to front.
In very good restored condition, there are some historic repairs to the top of the table where some of the original finish got damaged, this has been done very well and doesn't detract from the overall appeal of the piece. There may also be some minor polished in blemishes as to be expected for its age. Please take a look at the photographs for more detail.
