A pair of highly sought after, vintage model 449 carver chairs, or what is more commonly known as the 'Cowhorn Chair' In production from 1960-1982 and is now easily one of the most popular and iconic designs.
Please Note* At the time of listing, we also have the matching set of four 449 chairs including the original upholstery, which would make a lovely set, alongside the plank table and matching extension table, all from the original owner. – Excellent original condition
Featuring solid English elm seat bases with English beech base and spindles with a highly curved top rail. The chairs come with seat pads and back rests which were made by Ercol in 2014, meeting current fire safety regulations. We have also washed all the covers ready for use.
As with all Ercol furniture the build quality and materials used are second to none.
The chairs are in excellent original condition there may be some minor marks as to be expected for its age. Please take a look at the photographs for more detail.
