A scarcely seen, double chest of drawers designed by Richard Hornby & manufactured by Fyne Ladye originally retailed through Heals.

Superb craftsmanship throughout, constructed from solid from Afrormosia using traditional cabinet making techniques. Simplistic design with beautiful recessed handle detail.
Afrormosia is a dark African teak that was in use at the time but isn’t available today . Unlike teak and walnut it can’t be used as a thin veneer so it’s either used in the solid or as a very thick veneer/slice.
