How we got started...
Hello! We’re Simon & Gemma, founders of Mustard Vintage. We've been in this industry for over 15 years after quitting our jobs in design and marketing. We started this business out of a shared love for unique interiors and vintage furniture, and a desire to work for ourselves in a creative field.
Furnishing our first home with select vintage pieces made us realise that we could create interiors that, were not only beautiful and packed full of character, but also individual to us. We also loved the process of transforming each piece of furniture and giving it a new lease of life. We found it incredibly rewarding and decided we didn't want to spend our time doing anything else.

After dabbling on eBay in the early days, we quickly realised that we weren’t alone in our love for vintage. So, we took the plunge and gave up our day jobs, and turned our new found passion into a family business. Mustard Vintage was born, and we had no choice but to make it succeed!
Our aim is simple: to help you create beautiful interiors that are true to you, providing statement vintage furniture and homewares that each tell their own story, and make your interiors as unique and individual as you are.
What makes us different?
Unlike the large retailers who follow trends, we make it our job to hand source furniture that provides longevity and is built to last. Our pieces come from many different era's, but have one (or more) of the following elements; timeless design, expert craftsmanship, or a unique look. Whether it be industrial, rustic, vintage or mid century modern, we like to mix things up - we don’t believe it one look, or one way.
What's more, we don’t just buy and sell on like other dealers. We add value by using our skills and years of experience to lovingly restore each piece. The end result is quality vintage furniture packed full of character & soul, ready to start a new life, in your home.
When out sourcing we always trust our instincts and only buy pieces that we genuinely love. Our philosophy is simple: if we wouldn’t have it in our own home, we just don’t buy it. With over a decade of being in business, our valued customers and clients know that they can trust our instincts too.

Currently we are living in a time of throw away culture and ‘fast interiors’ - this goes against everything we believe in.
